Who I am

Welcome! My name is Tom and I am the owner of this site. I’m 22 years old, from the UK and I have a high passion for travelling and seeking new adventures!

I’ve had the opportunity to go on many trips solo, with friends and with family and I’m looking to spread my tips and tricks across the internet!

I’ve been fortunate enough to experience a wide range of travel adventures, from watching football games in European cities like Barcelona and Madrid to marveling at Ancient Egypt’s wonders and architecture, to cruising past the iconic Statue of Liberty on a boat tour.

What I hope to achieve

I believe that travelling offers something for everyone. For some it may offer an escape from their daily routine, whilst others may use it to seek thrills they wouldn’t otherwise be able to find within the constraints of their own country. For everyone, I think it helps people learn a bit more about themselves every time they get out in the world and explore.

I hope that if this blog doesn’t at least help you get that ticket or find that special place, then it would at least motivate you to go and seek the experience that would make you happy.

The way I see it

A term my friends notice me use often is “You have to take L’s to get W’s”. When I went on my first solo trip, I was caught in this ferocious mixture of excitement and nervousness but I’m so glad I did it.

Getting over the mental barrier of fear in trying something vastly different to what you’re used to is something I can happily say I’ve tried and I think everyone owes it to themselves to try something that scares them every once in a while.
